Global Village Parking 2026: Free Zones, Fees & Tips
Updated 17 October 2026 for Global Village Season 31. If you are driving to Global Village in Dubai, you do not necessarily need to pay for parking. The venue lists several free parking zones, plus paid options for visitors who prefer a shorter walk to an entrance. Parking availability and traffic controls can change on busy evenings, so follow on-site signs and staff instructions.
This guide compares the official parking zones, current listed daily prices, walking distances and a public-transport alternative so you can choose before leaving.
Is Global Village Parking Free?
Yes. Global Village lists free parking in zones P1, P3 and P5. These are useful first options if you want to avoid a parking fee. The venue describes P1 and P3 as about 400 metres from the Gate of the World entrance and P5 as about 450 metres away.
Additional free zones P7, P8, P9, P10 and P11 are opened only on weekends, public holidays and busy days. They are around 1 kilometre from the Cultural Gate. From these zones, the venue lists a free shuttle bus to Cultural Gate or a rickshaw service starting at AED 10. Confirm which zones are open when you arrive.

Which Global Village Parking Zone Should You Choose?
- Lowest-cost option: Try P1, P3 or P5 first, but allow extra time to find a space and walk to the gate.
- Busy weekend or public holiday: Follow staff directions. P7–P11 may be opened for busy periods; use the free shuttle where offered or check the rickshaw price before boarding.
- Want a shorter walk: Paid Parking 2 is listed about 350 metres from Happiness Gate for AED 75 per day.
- Using a VIP pack: Check your pack terms for complimentary VIP parking. Without an eligible pack, the venue lists VIP parking at AED 200 per day.
- Accessibility needs: Follow the dedicated People of Determination parking signs and check current arrangements with the venue.
Can You Reach Global Village Without a Car?
Yes. For Season 31, Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has resumed four direct bus routes:
- 102: Al Rashidiya Bus Station to Global Village — every 60 minutes.
- 103: Union Bus Station to Global Village — every 40 minutes.
- 104: Al Ghubaiba Bus Station to Global Village — every 60 minutes.
- 106: Mall of the Emirates Bus Station to Global Village — every 60 minutes.
RTA published these frequencies on 12 October 2026 for the current season. Check the RTA website or journey planner for the latest departures, fares and return service before travelling. There is no Metro station at Global Village itself, so a bus or taxi is needed for the final leg.
When Should You Arrive?
Global Village Season 31 runs from 14 October 2026 to May 2027. The venue currently lists opening hours of 4 pm to midnight Sunday–Wednesday and 4 pm to 1 am Thursday–Saturday and public holidays. Tuesdays are reserved for families, couples and ladies except when they fall on a public holiday. These details can change for special events, so confirm the official visit information before you go.
On busy evenings, arrive earlier if you want a better chance of finding a free space. Keep your parking zone and gate in mind when returning to your car, and do not assume every free overflow zone is open on every visit.
